You’ll Love The Garden-Centric Charm At This Point Loma Elopement Editorial

The vision was to bring to life an intimate backyard wedding dream, and upon encountering the Cape Cod-style home adorned with its lush walls of greenery both on the porch and patio, one couldn’t help but feel whisked away to the enchanting world of “The Secret Garden.” This nostalgic ambiance guided many design decisions, from the incorporation of a vintage rose motif and blush plates to the selection of nude and earthy tones for glasses, flatware, and decor. We wanted everything on the tabletop to balance the modern upgrades within the private venue while showcasing garden-centric charm. Among the array of design elements, one stood out as a personal favorite—the jasmine-scented candles. These carefully chosen candles added a layer of sophistication and sensory delight, elevating the overall experience and enhancing the ethereal atmosphere of the occasion. In curating the floral arrangements, our aim was to evoke the feeling of freshly picked blooms from a garden, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance.

The wedding gown was from Moda Operandi. Similarly, the fashion choices for the bride and groom were meticulously crafted to mirror the elevated yet relaxed atmosphere of a garden party. Drawing inspiration from the lush surroundings and timeless elegance, the attire was thoughtfully selected to harmonize with the overall vibe of the event. From the bride’s ethereal gown to the groom’s tailored ensemble, every detail was chosen to complement the enchanting setting.
