Organic Tones and Western Flair at Twin Creeks Ranch

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color palette for the wedding of Steph & Josh included organic tones to match the Summer landscape of Twin Creeks Ranch. Shades of green, honey, dusty blush, terracotta and ivory presented in the florals, paper details and bridesmaids attire, beautifully complementing the Colorado mountain setting. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]To marry the couple’s love for Colorado and California, Lindsey of byBello collaborated with Steph & Josh to design a chic mountain soirée inspired by the beauty of the surroundings with a fresh, organic aesthetic and a hint of West Coast boho.
Over the course of three days, we designed a series of unique events at the groom’s family ranch that were filled with fun and interactive guest experiences and details. We were blessed with perfect weather in July, and the celebration was accented with beautiful horses looking on and a stunning mountain sunset in the background. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]For the wedding day, Steph wore a strapless, off-the-shoulder Berta gown with beautiful fine lace florals, a corset bodice, and delicate details. She accessorized the gown with a cathedral length veil, Loeffler and Randall shoes, and a crystal headband for the reception. [/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]A beautiful mix of gowns the ladies were empowered to select themselves with a little guidance from a color story and mood board created by the bride and her planning team. We wanted a variety of shades and colors and some prints to complement the wedding and Steph’s friends from different times in her life delivered with the perfect combination of gorgeous gowns for this special ranch wedding. [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Josh & his groomsmen wore suits from Suitsupply paired with cowboy boots. Josh also wore a vest and a Nick Fouquet hat to accessorize his look. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Following the ceremony, guests mingled lakeside sipping on signature sips like the couple’s favorite Paloma and enjoying passed canapes including ahi tuna tacos, roasted shrimp, grilled peach and ricotta crostinis, and a classic pig in a blanket— a favorite of the Father of the Bride.

Dinner kicked off with a bright salad of spring mixed greens, strawberry, candied & peppered pecans, lemon scented goat cheese, and creamy colorado local honey dressing and was served with warm herbed focaccia and salted butter.

Following, guests feasted on a plated dinner featuring the guest’s choice of three entrees including:
Aspen Ridge Beef Ribeye steak with colorado stranahan’s whiskey demi,
carrot puree, fresh grilled asparagus and carrot crumb;

Chicken roulade with fresh ricotta, english pea, sweet onion jus,
carrot puree, and grilled asparagus;

and brown butter gnocchi with roasted local
seasonal root vegetables, brown butter beurre blanc, lemon thyme ricotta,
and crispy kale.

A delicious dessert table filled with the couple’s favorite treats was highlighted by a small wedding cake for cutting. The display included various flavors of cheesecake lollipops, cupcakes, marble cake churros, and warm sea salt chocolate chip cookies.

Late night, guests were served parmesan truffle fries in mini fry baskets, and espresso martini shooters were passed as guests danced through the tables and around the tent in a conga line. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]A warm organic color palette played into the beauty of the ranch landscape, and a variety of high-texture florals in neutrals tones, grasses and botanicals designed in a light and airy way layered intentionally to complement the beautiful outdoor space.
Flowers included ranunculus, local dahlias, garden roses, taupe & blush sweetpeas, and a mix of bleached greenery.
A wood walkway lined with a large escort display decorated in florals and greenery welcomed guests as they entered the tent. Above, a ceiling installation of crocheted chandeliers and greenery hung over the dance floor, and below, crocheted linen overlays added texture to the tables which were accented with chargers with raffia detail, green glassware, and wood beaded napkin rings. [field title=”Wedding Cake”]A small cake for cutting was decorated with fresh fresh florals to accompany the couple’s favorite desserts in an impressive display.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The ceremony music was played live and included “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton,
and “Better Together” by Luke Combs.
The parents of the bride and groom joined them on the ceremony platform as Rabbi Sima Oster married Steph & Josh in a traditional Jewish ceremony in the backyard of the family ranch beneath a custom chuppah designed out of Aspen trees and decorated with the groom’s tallit. After breaking the glass and sealing the marriage with a kiss, they danced down the aisle to Hall & Oats’ “You Make My Dreams Come True”. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The weekend kicked off with the most fun al fresco Western welcome party surrounding the lake of the ranch property. Guests wore cowboy boots and hats, sipped on cold beverages with custom labels and enjoyed authentic Aspen BBQ from Hickory House. A bluegrass band played, sentimental and funny toasts were given, and before the end of the night, a line caller taught the group two new line dances, which they performed as a group on the wedding the following day! The perfect way to kick off a wedding weekend. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]One of our favorite details was the New Orleans style second line transitioning from the lakeside cocktail hour to the tented reception down the road. The bride and groom held lace umbrellas leading the parade as their guests danced along with the horn section from Jordan Kahn Orchestra. They were delighted by passed champagne, troughs of beer and sparkling seltzers along the way as the band played “All you need is Love” by the Beatles and “When the Saints go Marching In” by Louis Armstrong. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]From the choreographed first dance to ‘Til You Can’t’ by Cody Johnson with a fun couples line dancing component, to the lively extended Hora, and the late night conga line, the dance floor was the place to be! This crowd rocked glowing cowboy hats and light up batons as they sang and danced through the encore – an epic party to say the least! As a grand finale, guests lined the road with sparklers and cheered as the bride and groom led everyone to the after party in the barn – the perfect extension of the evening complete with pizza, an open bar, fog machine, and face glitter station.
