A Late Spring Wedding in Tuscany with a Touch of Chinese Traditions

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Julie and Peter are a couple in love from the USA with Chinese heritage which makes this weekend special. It started on a Friday with a lively Chinese wedding ceremony. In Chinese culture the red symbolizes joy and happiness which makes it an important colour in traditional ceremonies. The minimal yet impactful use of red in their Chinese wedding added a touch of cultural significance to the celebration.
For the White Wedding, they decided to follow the traditions and chose a palette with all the shadows of pink with a touch of white.[/field]

Love stories are meant to be unique, and Julie and Peter’s tale of romance is a testament to the beauty of blending cultures, love, and breathtaking settings. This dynamic couple celebrated their love with not just one, but two exquisite weddings, one steeped in Chinese tradition and the other in a classic white style. The Tuscan Wedding supported them for one year to make their dream come true. Julie and Peter’s love story is a testament to the power of love, unity, and cultural diversity. Their decision to celebrate both their Western and Chinese heritages speaks volumes about their commitment to honor their roots while embracing their shared future. The scenery at the weddings was nothing short of a fairytale. Borgo di Vignamaggio in Tuscany, Italy, is a place where time stands still. The venue provided a 360-degree view of rolling hills, vineyards, and cypress trees that stretched as far as the eye could see. Guests were treated to the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, a serene and picturesque backdrop that added an extra layer of enchantment to the occasion.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]From Julie:
“Peter knew that I wanted to be surrounded by my friends and family when he proposed so he coordinated to make sure my best friends flew in from all over the country to there in NYC where we live. He had put together a video of all of our moments together since we started dating and at the end told me to meet him on the rooftop overlooking NY where he was waiting. After I said yes, my friends who were hiding surprised me back at our apartment where Peter had organized a omakase chef to come to our house for us to enjoy a dinner together with all of my friends”[/field]

with extra virgin olive oil or Veal fillet with Vinsanto wine sauce
Green beans chives tied and Potato flan truffle flavored. For those who followed a vegetarian diet, an Eggplant Parmigiana on a tomato coulis was available. As they got married in a winery, the wines were provided by Vignamaggio Wine cellar: the Red Chianti Classico Riserva, the white wine Tramonte and a delicious rosé wine Albaluce. The flowers at the white wedding were a sight to behold.
