Soft and romantic tones of lilac, blush, champagne and buttercream paired with neutrals in taupe, sage and terra-cotta with citrus and poppy touches and gold accents for the first day then transitioned into neutrals of creams, sand, walnut and deep sage with soft tones of apricot, peach and blush paired with Bordeaux, berry and accents of marigold and wood for the second day!

{A taste of the good life} Classic Romance with trendy touches where whimsy meets all things fun in a palette of dreamy pastels giving a nod to our couple’s love of sunsets at the beach. Playing to their shared love of trying new restaurants and complimentary careers we created an event that was both fresh in design and beautiful.. infusing warm wood textures, soft velvets and architectural elements to allude to a warm and colorful Moroccan night. We wanted our couple to take in the view of their loved ones sipping on curated cocktails as they were invited to dine among soft candlelight with specialty china and florals sprawled across the tables creating an elegant and comforting atmosphere enjoyed by all. Cozy lounges and unexpected touches helped to tell their sweet love story throughout the night. Hearing the music swell as guests took in all the joy and laughter under festive market lights as the day turned to evening and everyone danced the night away!

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Cocktail hour consisted of mini chicken pot pies, duck confit and Baja street corn with yummy specialty cocktails to sip on. A Watermelon Margarita with the option to be classic or spicy, and a Cucumber Mint Mojito were topped with cocktail graffiti that displayed the couples monogram that included fun details that have been a constant throughout their relationship! [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Florals: Ranunculus, sweet peas, dahlias, hyacinth, foxglove, honeysuckle paired with seasonal blooms and fresh foliage.

Guests were greeted with instrumental music and sat down to white and cane chairs and lush florals at the ceremony framing the couple perfectly. Craft cocktails were enjoyed on as guests chatted at the sage green bar in the library and visited at tables draped in camel velvet while yummy passed apps made their way around. Walking into the reception tables were draped in blush linens with runners on long tables in a beautiful embroidered floral pattern. A mix of lilac and sand plates sat on clear and white rimmed chargers with bone and gold accented flatware. Soft blush + lilac napkins sat on top of the tabletop with a watercolor menu and acrylic fruit shaped name card. A blush water goblet, lilac coupe and nude wine glass complimented the setting perfectly. Lilac velvet chairs made for the comfiest of seats while guests sat under market lighting to dine. A cozy lounge made up of an amber velvet sofa, lilac side chairs, blush poufs, and a yellow edge scallop rug allowed guests to hang out and kick up their feet after a night of dancing!

Day 2: A day filled with good food, lots of dancing, and so much love! Guests sat down to long family style tables draped in embroidered white linens with taupe corduroy chairs. Terra cotta plates with velvet green napkins sat upon each plate with guests name on an acrylic gold name card. Camel taper candles, lush florals and wood bowls filled the tables with fresh fruits to add some texture and color. A beautifully draped wood cabana was adored in carnation garlands for the cake to sit under and served as a focal point of the reception space. Mustard velvet and taupe velvet pendants hung above the tables with fresh greenery to bring the space to life. A cozy lounge was nestled underneath the “family tree” where guests could gather amongst the cocktail tables draped in a fun green and white color blocked linen with a bud vase of florals.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]After guests finished their entree’s they were served a Lemon Meringue Cheesecake and Tropical Pavlova before hitting the dance floor at Darlington House!

For the reception at The Guild, sitting beneath a natural wood cabana draped in carnation garlands Hey there, Cupcake created a Pecan Praline and Coconut Lime cake with a terra cotta buttercream, gold foil and fresh florals adorning the side. [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]For the Indian Reception at The Guild, the grooms family did a series of dances to honor the couple and eventually got everyone up out of their seats and onto the dance floor for a night of fun! [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Fruits and Vegetables were woven throughout the weekend as a nod to our brides career as a dietician and our groom on his way to become a physician. Bowls of fruits + veggies adorned the tables with florals and candles to create a lush garden like feel. We even created a Farmer’s Market like stand that held fresh pears in trays, baskets and bowls with guests names and tables calligraphed on them for the escort display![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Both Jaclynn and Wes shared an immense love for their family and friends and wanted to honor them throughout the weekend! We created a “Family Tree” that held photos of each guest with their table number for the second day festivities. The photos were hung from the main tree in the middle of their reception space for guests to look at all night and were able to take them home at the end. [/field]
