[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Mackenzie & Jason dreamt of a romantic, candlelit occasion with soft flowers, but they certainly weren’t ones to shy away from colour. With style and fun being musts for their wedding, Mackenzie & Jason asked for one thing; make it bold! They decided to use all the colors of the rainbow and have the MOST colorful wedding on the Amalfi Coast![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Mackenzie & Jason took a ski trip to Aspen, Colorado with their two dogs, Daisy and Apollo. A week long stay at the St.Regis where they spent their time together doing their favourite things; skiing, eating at the finest restaurants and they even found the time to visit Kemo Sabe where they had custom cowboy hats made. During a walk with their dogs, Jason had them all stop at a beautiful gazebo where he then got on one knee and asked Mackenzie to marry him. After several calls to their friends and family to share the exciting news, Mackenzie & Jason popped the champagne and went to dinner.

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Mackenzie & Jason welcomed guests to their big day in the way they know best, with plenty of bubbles! A Prosecco greeting set the scene for what was bound to be a day filled with fun. After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a cocktail hour complete with an open bar and the best Italian spritz’ in Ravello. And the festivities didn’t stop there as cocktail hour was followed by four courses of pure delight! Dinner opened with a marinated beef carpaccio with ricotta cheese, ‘pizzaiola’ sauce and Neapolitan tarallo. In true Italian style, Mackenzie & Jason’s dinner included a pasta course which featured Ravioli with ricotta cheese and a lemon sauce that was a worthy tribute to their Amalfi Coast surroundings. The main course saw guests enjoy beef fillet with a tarragon jus and seasonal vegetables ‘caponata’ and, to bring dinner to a close, a ‘Delizia al limone’ with strawberry sauce. All of which were paired with the choice of a red or white wine. For Red, guests could enjoy Ettore Sammardo – Costa d’Amalfi Selva delle Monache Riserva Doc or, for white, guests could plunge into a cool glass of Ida Giordano – Costa d’Amalfi Tramonti II Colle Doc.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Mackenzie’s bouquet featured a collection of Ranunculus’, Dahlias, Clematis, Sweet Peas and Peonies, all of which varied in shades of pink along with pops of greens and yellows. The bridesmaids’ bouquets mirrored Mackenzie’s bouquet with pairings of Dahlias and Clematis, pops of green and an added uniqueness in the form of daisies.
Peonies from Mackenzie’s bouquet featured heavily in the ceremony displays which not only celebrated their signature pink shades but also expanded into blues, purples, reds and yellows. Larkspurs, Foxtail lilies and Giant Allium provided added texture and height to each display whilst Roses, Dahlias and Bellflowers provided volume.
Welcome drinks and cocktail hour saw an array of blue and white ginger jars decorating the bars and encompassing the floral arrangements. Whilst gold frames enhanced the bar menus that were detailed with Mackenzie & Jason’s classic monogram.
A common theme through the entire day was the presence of candlelight which was only amplified at dinner with each table holding tealights, hurricane candles and candelabras decorated with various shades of pink. Place settings included Versace charger and bread plates, menus decorated with Mackenzie & Jason’s monogram and the simplicity of a pale pink napkin.
For the after dinner party, the Crypt at Villa Cimbrone was brought to life with colourful uplighting and ceremony floral arrangements scattered around the arches.

Mackenzie kept with tradition and entered the Villa Cimbrone tea room to Pachelbel – Canon in D. Mackenzie and Jason then joined to exit their ceremony together to the soft sounds of Piovani – Life is Beautiful.
Mackenzie & Jason entered their dinner to Love Me Like You Do – Ellie Goulding, cut their cake to That’s Amore – Dean Martin in true Italian style and then enjoyed their first dance to Lover – Taylor Swift (Mackenzie’s favourite artist).
Mackenzie then joined with her dad for their Father & Daughter dance to Days Like This – Van Morrison. Jason then followed with his mum for their Mother & Son dance to Humble & Kind – Tim McGraw.[/field]
