Bouquet Breakdown: Ethereal Lakeside Inspiration Filled with Seashells

When it comes to florals there is nothing (and I mean nothing) we love more than a handful of pastel petals. In fact, we love it so much that we’ve dedicated an entire section of The Vault to showcase just that, and today we’ve asked the highly talented BOTANY FLORAL STUDIO to break down what makes up a stunningly soft-hued posy. See it all below!

Ethereal Lakeside Inspiration Filled with Seashells

  • Spray roses
  • Juliet David Austin garden roses
  • Versilia roses
  • Cafe au Lait dahlias
  • Patience David Austin garden roses
  • Ranunculus
  • Pittosporum
  • Camellia branch
  • Blushing Bride protea
  • Pineapple mint
  • Mojito mint

From BOTANY FLORAL STUDIOFor this lake side styled shoot with Julia Park Photography, we were given a seashell colour palette as inspiration for the florals. A lovely surprise was this bouquet matching perfectly to the sunset sky as well. We were given complete freedom when creating this bouquet, so we included some of our favourite blooms and foliage. There’s nothing better than using flowers that we grew ourselves, so we were sure to include Cafe au Lait dahlias and the mint that we grow on our farm.

At Botany Floral Studio planning and designing flowers is our passion. We believe that wedding flowers should reflect our client’s personal style, so we create bespoke designs for each and every wedding. My personal philosophy on floral arranging is to keep it as natural and organic-inspired as possible; allowing each stem and flower their own space to bend and bloom.

We are dedicated to providing a healthy and beautiful alternative to traditional floristry, by hand-picking local and seasonal flower varieties. Our flowers are locally grown whenever possible, and always fresh and seasonal. We strive to be sustainable in our practices – treading lightly anyway we can.
