Leave it to Valley & Company Events to deliver the perfect autumnal wedding with details every fall bride will surely want to steal. The couple gave their event designers free reign to create a “warm and cozy celebration” and they totally delivered. Think copper mugs filled with mulled cider, greenery garland, gold lettered invites by Laura Hooper, and fresh plum place cards as an ode to the season. From Valley & Company Events…We had so much fun working with Savannah and Steve planning and designing their intimate Seattle autumn wedding. They gave us carte blanche to surprise them with charming details and experiences, giving us the parameters of desiring a warm and cozy celebration.
With many of their guests traveling from the East Coast and Colorado, we knew they envisioned a wedding that was quintessentially Seattle, showing off the character of their new home. Guests were greeted at a century-old industrial building in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood with warmed mulled cider cocktails in copper mugs and Spanish guitar playing in the background. The ceremony space was draped in gorgeous Northwest greenery garlands, peppered with magnolia leaves with hints of brown.
We incorporated fresh plums with calligraphy as table numbers and a subtle fall color story was told through the slate linens and autumnal centerpieces. We surprised Savannah and Steve by having their crest embroidered onto hemstitch napkins that we cinched with silk ribbon that sat atop each guest’s place setting. Guests dined on a decadent fall offerings, drank delicious wines, and danced the night away to a 7-piece band. It was such a pleasure to work with Savannah and Steve and looking back on their photos is so meaningful!
