Inspired by a recent trip to Europe and a love of color, this striking shoot planned and designed by Ness McGovern Events & Design marries old-world charm with a modern sensibility. With the iconic 620 LOFT AND GARDEN setting the stage, this shoot is elegant, refined, and could be something out of a fairytale, with New York City as the backdrop. This well-styled shoot is sure to inspire with delicate details that are rich, romantic, and just a touch glamorous. Industry talent from all over the East Coast came together to make magic. Photographer Manda Weaver Photography brings her fine art lens and effectively tells the tale of a romantic event through her images. Brandon Reynolds of Brandon Lee Films captures the emotions and love story of this real-life and recently married couple. The bride is wearing a Reem Acra wedding gown with whimsical textured flowers and a modern open-back. Stunning pressed-glass chargers and glassware from BorrowedBlu pull the entire tablescape together. While the groom’s white tuxedo by TheBlackTux provided a classic, upscale feel. Featuring colorful and flowing bridesmaid gowns by Mac Duggal, natural and glowing makeup by Makeup by Flynn, bright and wild blooms by Alla Veytsman Floral Design & Events, and custom-made rings by Susie Saltzman with the breathtaking background of New York City and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, couples planning their wedding are invited to take inspiration from this intentional curation. This feature is the perfect fit for a couple seeking colorful and romantic inspiration for their wedding day.

We chose an intricate and delicate gown from Reem Acra‘s Love Life collection. It has a flowing train, floral applique details and a gorgeous ethereal look. It also features an open back that is a modern surprise.

The bridesmaids dresses were mixed Mac Duggalgowns in prints, bright colors and with intricate beading. The groom wore a classic and timeless white tuxedo from The Black Tux.

A bright but whimsical, old-world and romantic feel was executed with coral sunset peonies, cabbage garden roses, ornate antique silver flatware and cloches framing moss and floral stems. We were really trying to make it as if one was in a lush Italian villa garden but in the middle of New York City with bright and colorful twist. Specifically, the florals chosen provide for organic and wild movement and structure. We really tired to marry formal and traditional with color which are usually not considered synonymous.
