Is this one of the most unique bouquets or what? (More on that later!) Chris + Leila’s Seattle wedding was such a rad blend of modern, rustic, industrial and even camp inspired. They love Wes Anderson films and managed to incorporate the perfect balance of his style in their décor, with an added air of romance of course. It goes without saying that Ryan Flynn Photography was a most ideal fit for their vibe!
We had festive décor that was inspired by Wes Anderson’s colorful films (Fantastic Mr. Fox + Moonrise Kingdom being two favorites). Our focus was on hosting a celebration and the rustic, campy colors and décor gave our wedding a stylish yet laid back feel. We really wanted our wedding to be an opportunity for everyone (125 guests, 90%+ out of towners) to come together and share in the celebration! See Leila’s Pinterest here.

Totally enamored with the florals by Bash + Bloom, who we hear has an incredible local garden!
Leila says, A family friend repurposed my late grandmother’s lace tablecloth into our incredible chuppah. All of the paper goods, invitations, and signage was done (with so much heart and talent) by my mom. The wedding favors included jars filled with local honey by friends and family. We created all of the flags from the tables to the chairs—it was a great weekend art project for the two of us. It was fantastic seeing so much love around us throughout the ceremony and reception.
Sodo Park met all their must-haves: 1) everyone in one big room, 2) great food, 3) space to dance the night away. Perfect for a wedding that brought together so many of their friends and fam from all over.
