From The Southern Table… For this styled inspiration, I wanted to feature a look that was classically feminine, soft, and very romantic. What could be more feminine than pink? We are so excited to see this soft blush tone made one of two Pantone colors of the year for 2016! Here we paired soft florals with grey, both light, as in this gorgeous Watters gown from Bhldn, and in the dark, slate grey tone in the ribbon. Loose, organic bouquets are my favorite to design, so I opted for an asymmetrical structure with subtle movement. The gorgeous blush and white garden roses were the focus, while the smaller ranunculus and lisianthus added dimension. I am also a big fan of texture, so bouvardia, pieris, and jasmine were added. It’s always very important to take the bride’s gown style into account when constructing bouquets. When meeting with our brides, taking a look at their gowns is a must in the design process. Plus, my second favorite aspect of wedding design is the fashion, so I get very excited to be able to merge the two into one cohesive look! This pale grey gown was so light and airy, so this color palette, bouquet shape, and silk ribbon accents felt most appropriate in bringing such a romantic feel to life!
