The drive through the mountains towards The Highlands Estate can only be described as ethereal… Overgrown forests, moss covered rocks, and a fog covered road leading you up to the estate. It makes a fabulous first impression and the views only get better as you climb the dirt road to the house and overlook the wedding venue, the vineyards, and wine country in the distance. Whether your wedding party is 20 people or 200 people, this venue feels intimate, otherworldly, and so incredibly inviting.
We always hear about how more and more couples are designing their weddings with their venues in mind, and every detail the team brought together was meant to do exactly that.
The tabletop under the oak tree spoke of the outdoors, complete with organic, airy centerpieces, linen napkins tied with delicate ribbon, cool grey dinnerware, glassware etched with delicate vines, and the pop of blush and periwinkle color in the vintage rug. The wooden ceremony arch brought structure to the whimsy with the romantic wine barrel topped with unity candle, and the Moroccan wedding blanket served as an eclectic flair.

We wanted to show a couple that wasn’t afraid to step out of the traditional for more eclectic styling, while still maintaining a respect for the classic outdoor vineyard wedding. There were so many ‘wow-factors’ that we loved collaborating on, like the wooden, mobile bar cart (amazing!), the hand-painted gold-flecked cake, the vintage Jaguar cruising up the driveway, and the tabletop under the beautiful oak tree. This dream came together with a team of truly amazing creatives whose goal was to create something breathtaking.
