Pretty in Pink Meets Elvis Inspired Nashville Wedding

Amy and Ashley had a $5,000 budget for their Nashville wedding which meant they wanted something low key, with minimal fuss or excessive spending. They chose Rhinestone Wedding Chapel for their Elvis-led ceremony and had a party afterwards at an Italian restaurant.

“We knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding, plus there’s the whole pandemic aspect to deal with”, Amy told us. “Our wedding needed to be small, intimate and most of all FUN!”

“My dad was an Elvis impersonator and I have always loved Elvis so we got the idea to have ‘Elvis’ marry us in a simple but kick ass ceremony that was totally unique to us. We didn’t want to spend a ton of money and chose to focus on having a core group of people accompany us to Nashville and thankfully my best friend is also a bomb photographer so we all met up on a Thursday and we pulled the trigger on a Friday at The Rhinestone Wedding Chapel.”

This low-stress couple didn’t even visit their venues beforehand! Amy wore a peach vintage reproduction dress custom made by ieie Bridal, and her veil was vintage, bought on Etsy. She also I got an Elvis tattoo with her best friend the next day to commemorate the wedding. “I bought my dress without ever trying it on and didn’t see the wedding or reception venues in person ahead of time”, Amy said. “It was the same with the flowers – Ashley picked them out for me!”

“There is nothing at all we’d change about our wedding. You can have a fun and memorable wedding without spending a fortune.”
