Not Your Usual Vegas Wedding: Rustic & Relaxed Warehouse Wedding

Courtney and Aaron wanted a casual wedding, with a relaxed and rustic vibe. They chose The Doyle, a warehouse turned chic industrial venue in downtown Las Vegas for the May wedding, with a very fun addition – the courtyard serves as a working farm where they have a variety of animals, from alpacas to goats to pigs roaming around. Not your average Vegas venue then!

They incorporated teals and various shades of blues into their laid back day; one of the couples’ favourite details were their matching bedazzled Nikes. Courtney wore a David’s Bridal dress, with the bridesmaids in Birdy Grey.

With a stunning flower wall for a photo op and plenty of booze a-flowing, the pair planned a day that was relaxed and comfortable. “We wanted a day that wasn’t too fancy but that felt like us!” the bride explained.

For their ceremony, they both wrote their own vows, and cried way more than they expected to as a result! They incorporated a sand ceremony with their wedding colours at the end, and walked back down the aisle to a bubble exit instead of traditional confetti – way more fun!

Instead of a traditional caterer, they had a taco truck, and Courtney’s mum decorated their cake, which helped keep costs down. “Planning was very time consuming,” concluded the bride, “but seeing everything come together was worth every moment. We implore future couples to do things YOUR way – you won’t regret one second of it!”
