A Weekend in Huntington Beach at the Pasea Hotel & Spa

Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach

A few weeks ago, Jason and I decided to head down south a bit from LA to the beachy town of Huntington Beach, California for a weekend staycation at the brand new Paséa Hotel & Spa. The hotel is right on the beach adjacent to the iconic Huntington Beach Pier and the newly built Pacific City (more on this later!). Many of the rooms have gorgeous ocean views, there is a Bali-inspired spa, 34,000 square feet of ocean front event space (perfect for weddings!), Tanner’s restaurant and a rooftop bar.

They have a grassy area for an outdoor ceremony and/or cocktail hour. And then there is a large modern ballroom for the reception. I think our brides would likely choose the outdoor option.pasea hotel poolPacific City Huntington BeachWe enjoyed some beer + burgers at Simzy’s and then made our own popsicles at Popbar. I had the green tea pop dipped in dark chocolate with almonds. It was the BEST popsicle I’ve had. We even stopped back again on Sunday and I had the hazelnut pop which was also delicious! :) Jason + I are huge coffee fans, so we also grabbed a cold brew from Portola Coffee Lab before heading out to the beach.
