This wedding officially debunks the myth that “beach weddings” and “total glamour” can’t go hand-in-hand. Opting for a white-on-white color palette that embraces monochromatic elegance, I’m pretty sure this is the wedding Cinderella would have if she married in Jamaica. Plus that Galia Lahav gown? Don’t even get me started. Bravo, Ether & Smith for the photos our entire team can’t stop talking about.
From the Bride… Our wedding was inspired by the beauty and simplicity of all things white. Our guests were greeted upon their arrival with a wonderful welcome bag with a few of our favorite things (Sugarfina Champagne Bubbles anyone?)- the most raved about was the “Adam + Kara Sippy Cup”. There wasn’t one thirsty guest on the island! Inspired by the monochromatic colors similar to our home, we wanted our wedding to exude timeless sophistication. From the all-white rose and peony bouquets to the blush-pink bridesmaids we fell in love all over again. Our sunset ceremony was truly heaven and our steel-drum band cocktail party got the party started as we danced the night away as husband and wife.
Our advice to planning couples is to remind yourselves along the way the reason for getting married. Be sure to have moments and days (yes a whole day!) where there are absolutely no wedding-related conversations with each other. Try not to stress (easier said than done), be sure to prep. Yourselves mentally and physically with exercise, yoga or a regular work-out routine and most importantly clean eating. Not only will you not fatigue or get sick prior to, during or after your wedding, but you will have the energy to do it all- literally!
