From Sally PineraThe inspiration for this editorial was spring in Japan, a season and location that has inspired me personally for a very long time. The femininity and grace of the blooming cherry tree inspired the color palette, which brought soft hues of purple and yellow together with blush blossoms. Our model wore a silk kimono from Gossamer vintage with soft floral patterns. Jess Wilcox gave her delicate blush cheeks and slightly lavender eyes to bring youth to the 20s style pin curl updo.

SBB Gourmet Catering created a Japanese inspired menu that highlighted the colors and textures of Spring. Ingredients like spring peas, baby vegetables and cherry blossoms brought the menu to life in the most inspiring ways. The ikebana style flowers created by Studio Mondine accented the table perfectly with spring floral sitting between place settings of delicate Japanese style ceramic items. The paper goods created by Joya Rose added some whimsy and charm to the look, offering hand-brushed calligraphy on soft blush paper.
