A Cattle Farm Wedding Gone Completely Elegant

We first met this couple when their Christmas tree farm engagement hit the pages of SMP. And while we might never get over the sweetness, their Mississippi wedding day? Well, it’s pretty magical too. A true labor of love, this couple’s families pulled together to build a barn, benches, tables, and so many personal details that transformed a cattle farm into the venue of their dreams. Lauren Kinsey photographed, Nathan Willis filmed, and the bride and her business partner (a.k.a. Mitchell Willis Events) pulled off rustic elegance to a T.

Spring

From Nathan Willis Wedding FilmsSaron & Neal were married at her parents’ farm in south Mississippi under an arbor Saron’s stepfather had built out of old farm equipment that belonged to her grandfather. It was a beautiful, breezy spring day, and they were married in a clover field among family and friends. Saron’s stepfather built a barn on the property for the reception, and Neal and his father built all the ceremony and reception tables and benches. It was such a happy day, and the love between everyone there was so present throughout the evening. Everyone laughed and hugged and partied all night. And when it was time for the band to go home, they played music on an iPod so they could keep dancing. It was probably the most fun wedding we have ever filmed.
