Cassandra + Jason had a few must-haves for their wedding day: that it would feel totally like them, that it would represent California, where they met, and that it would feel like an extension of how they entertain: festive and elegant, but easy. With the talented Bash Please on planning + design and Paige Jones behind the camera, they brought it all to Ojai along for their 120 guests…
The romantic bouquet from Foxglove LA was full of protea, ranunculus, roses, anemones, silver dollar eucalyptus, and more.
Since they met here and are building their lives in California, they wanted all the little details to rep their state. So they highlighted things like the California state flower, poppy, the regal quail (the California state bird), oranges, and other traditional California flora and fauna.

Since throwing a great party was important to them, they had to have lounge spaces throughout the outdoor space. A must!
One of their fave aspects was being able to offer up custom cocktails from Pharmacie, including Manhattans + Negronis, plus their wines from their cousin’s business. For food, they had an elevated BBQ menu from Whoa Nelly including cedar planked salmon and grilled Niman Ranch tri-tip. Yum!
