When LB Events sent Allie + Mike’s Ritz Carlton beach wedding our way, they told us it had it all. And with a surprise choir, big pink babies breath installations, and a gorgy cape bridal gown, they sure weren’t kidding. These two have big personalities (they met at Allie’s own Celine Dion party after all) and wanted their wedding to reflect that, while remaining an intimate destination wedding for 75. How amazing are these reflexed roses?!? Of the Flowers created arrangements of big blooms and clouds of babies breath for a playful look.
Allie surprised the groom and their guests with a choral performance of Seasons of Love… Be sure to check out the film at the end of the post to see how it all went down!
Their baby Birdie was their cutie flower girl who rocked Tutu du Monde down the aisle.
Allie says, I have background in floral design and have worked on so many white weddings, I knew I didn’t want that. I want color and I want character. I chose pink, red, mustard, and caramel. I wanted modern and whimsical with texture and details. We did this through clouds of pink baby’s breath, mustard velvet linens, pink chairs, hot red containers, acrylic boxes of flowers etc. it was design magic.
Libby Tipton designed the most fun, modern graphic elements for A + M’s day. The menus featured different design elements that helped make the tablescapes pop.
Love seeing how they reimagined the ceremony arch for the reception florals… Genius!
2020 weddings are going to be all about disco balls, dontcha think? So fun.
