A Tea Time Galentine’s Day Party

Valentine’s is less than a day away (!!!!!) so just in case you’re the last minute planning type we’ve got a dose of inspiration to save the day. It’s a Galentine’s Party from our girl Lark & Linen plus The Vault File, featuring sweet treats, yummy teas, and the loveliest flower wall you ever did see. Heidi Lau photographed and there’s even more ideas to properly spoil your closet girlfriends inside The Vault.

From Lark & LinenI’m of the variety that looks for any and every excuse to celebrate. The one thing you’re guaranteed to find in my fridge at any given moment is a chilled bottle of champagne. I mean, you never really know when the need (or urge) to pop some bubbles will strike, and if I’ve learnt anything from those boyscouts it’s that one needs to be prepared at all times. I came to the realization long ago that we’re only here for a brief moment in time, so we’d better make the most of it while we’re able!

I know that Valentine’s day gets a bit of a bad wrap amongst some, but if you ask me, it’s just another excuse to consciously celebrate all of the relationships in your lives – romantic and otherwise. I adore my boyfriend, that goes without saying, but my girlfriends hold such a special place in my heart – one that could never be fulfilled by anyone else, and making them a priority is a must. So when my friend Gaby (http://www.thevaultfiles.com) approached me about putting together a Valentine’s Day afternoon tea party for the girls, it was a bit of a no brainer.

Sweet treats, delicious eats, incredible cocktails, warm tea, and all things over-the-top-girly were abundant. Basically? It was the best way to spend an afternoon. If you have a chance to throw your own mini Galentine’s day party, I highly recommend it. With photos hailing straight from Heidi Lau‘s lens, and florals done by none other than Blush & Bloom, it was a dream from beginning to end.
