XXXIX queritur, frustra se operam dedisse ut apparatus a niro docto (ludovico Sch0peno) 1867 mortuo congestus usui suo concederetur. Quae cum minus accurate dieta essent7 meum esse putaui, hac 0pportunitate oblata nem referre. Frustra scilicet 1866 Sch0peno iam tum aegrotante petiemt, ut sibi ex apparatu quae ad Terentium emendandum pertinerent excerperet. Schopeuo mortuo eiusdem rei causa me adiit. Ego cum eo ipso tempore domicilium Bonna Vratislaniam transferrem multis negot�is districtus statim ei morem gerere non potui: aestate demum anni 1868 schedas Sch0pen�, quas eius heredes paschali eiusdem anni tempore fidei meae commiserant, me in ordinem digestas ipsi obtuli. Rescripsit non iam eis se uti posse, cum sero id sibi nuntiatum esset. Tum ipse consilium monae editionis agitare coepi eodemque anno almae uniuersitati Bonnensi semisaecu laria celebranti specimen Donati 'a Ludovico 80110pen0' qui primus in illa academia doctor remuntiatus erat apparatu critico instructi, me recensiti' dedicaui. Quod in publicum non prodiit: continebat autem uitam Terentii et principium Euanthii cum scriptur�s Parisini 7920 et editionis principis. Nunc ad opus diu intermissum redeo.
